-

The world has lost one of its all-time great guys. Michael J. Rosci, 63 of Newtown Square and formerly of Drexel Hill, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on October 28, 2017. He bravely fought a multi-year battle with the cancer that would ultimately take him to a better place.

Raised in Upper Darby, he was a graduate of Msgr. Bonner, class of 1971, and Villanova University, class of 1975, “where Mike did it all”. He was a proud member of the Villanova Singers while in college, where he made many lifelong friends. Mike was a Life Insurance Agent and ran his own company for 35 years. He helped thousands of people secure their legacy.

Mike was a huge sports fan, with a special love for baseball, and had a true love of the game dating back to the 60’s, and he also never lost his passion for the Villanova Basketball Team. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, Robbie (nee Lakey), sons Michael (Jackie) and Daniel (Marcy) and young grandchildren, Benny, Lila, Carly and Emma, sister Graceann Dempster (George) and his brother Dean (Linda).
