NOT DON’S FAULT

It’s not Donald Trump’s fault that this country is a cesspool of greed, bigotry and ignorance. JUST SAYING

HILLARY? REALLY?

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re trying to provoke me. How can you sit there and print this stuff saying Hillary Clinton is more accomplished than Tiger Woods? Tiger Woods is done stuff wrong, but Tiger Woods has never lied. Tiger Woods has owned up to every mistake he ever made. He’s never hid behind a facade of deceit. Hillary Clinton is the biggest liar and hypocrite that I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s a shame how you can compare to Tiger Woods as far as a role model is concerned. Give me a break.

EXPLOSIVE NEWS

Republicans heads are exploding over the fact that Peter Strzok emailed his girlfriend things like “Trump is an idiot” and that when Trump was elected he was terrified. First of all, those things are absolutely correct – people should be terrified with Trump as president. Second, people in the FBI are allowed to have opinions about people and it doesn’t affect their work. But of course right-wingers are so delusional, they will automatically say that it does affect his work. This is how craven and out of touch with reality Republicans are.

BASIC ECONOMICS

To “It Adds Up,” what difference does it make if the owners of big box stores don’t live in the area where stores are located? The people managing those stores do and they’re not doing bad for themselves. Local taxes are being paid on the store property. This caller sounds like the kind of person who would talk about the need for “an educated electorate,” just that doesn’t seem to apply to basic economics.

PLASTIC NOT FANTASTIC

Boy, on NBC News they showed two cars smashed up. Two plastic junk Toyotas. I’ll tell you, boy, they look like cellophane the way they just curved up to each other. And these cars are supposed to be safe today? I had a ‘59 Cadillac and I ran it in to a wall and I drove her home. These two things are ready for the plastic junkyard.

TAXING SITUATION

I was talking to my uncle who is a Republican and a Trump supporter about how much in taxes he pays. He said that he pays hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax and that it is too much money. I’m tired of wealthy people telling me how much money they pay and tax. I pay the same percentage, and the word there is percentage, of my paycheck to the federal government and the state.

DEM APPLES!

Yeah, this is in reference to Trump’s tax cut plan for the richest Americans. I’ve been a registered Republican in Ridley Township since the mid ‘60’s I retired at age 70 so I could collect my maximum Social Security. If my Social Security or my Medicare benefits are touched in any way, even by a penny, because of Trump’s tax cut for the rich, I’m going to register Democrat and vote that way from now on. I will no longer be a Republican in Ridley Township. RIDLEY TOWNSHIP SENIOR

MAD MOMS

I love how drivers on Route 420 in Springfield in front of E.T. Richardson Middle School all slow down, all have their blinkers on, just so self-important soccer moms can blast out of the driveway like a bat out of hell after they get done unloading their precious cargo. Somebody should look into this. BOB F. ON ROLLING ROAD

NO DEFENSE

It’s the Eagles lose in the playoffs, it won’t be because of Nick Foles. It will be because will be because of the defense. They can’t tackle. They tackle like they bowl – lousy. A FAN IN SPRINGFIELD

NEW TO US

It’s pretty scary that in this country, when all the reputable news organizations do a story about Donald Trump and all agree on the facts, and only one news organization in the entire country disagrees with these facts, that 30 percent of the people in this country will call the reputable news organizations fake news.
