Maria Anna Johnston Herceg

Maria Anna Johnston Herceg, 94, of Garnet Valley, PA died October 20, 2018 at the Hospice Residence of Taylor Hospital.

Raised in Colwyn, PA and a past resident of Chester, PA, Mrs. Herceg lived in Garnet Valley for the last 25 years. She was the widow of Charles Joseph Herceg, Sr. and daughter of the late Robert M. and Maria Johnston. She was predeceased by sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Beuttel and Elizabeth (Betty) Yeskoot.

The family wishes to thank the attentive and compassionate caregivers who attended their mother at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Taylor Hospice.

Survivors: Daughters, Judith Frerking of Royse City, TX, Roberta HercegBaron of Hockessin, DE, Jeanne Denham of West Chester, PA; a son, Charles Joseph Herceg, Jr. of Garnet Valley, PA; a sister, Kathryn (Kass) Gallagher of Hempstead, NC; 3 sons-in-law, 6 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Thursday, Oct. 25th, 11-11:45 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Kaniefski, Kendus and Danjolell Memorial Home,
