How to get around in Delco this week
Delaware County motorists won’t have too much to worry about this week, though the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced a few road work projects to be aware of. Tinicum
• Industrial Highway, lane closures in both directions between Route
291 and International Plaza Drive between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 12
Haverford and Upper Darby
• Township Line Road, single lane closure between Wilson Drive and Agnew Drive, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays from Nov.
12 through Dec. 14 for gas main installation. Marple
• West Chester Pike, single lane closures in both directions between the Interstate 476 Interchange and New Ardmore Avenue, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 12 through Nov. 17 for excavation.
Upper Darby
• Township Line Road, overnight lane restrictions between State Road and Bella Vista Road, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nov. 11 through Nov. 17 for milling and paving.
• State Road, overnight lane closures between Township Line Road and the Philadelphia County line, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nov.
11 through Nov. 17 for milling and paving.
PennDOT has also announced overnight lane closures for Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 in Delaware County for guide rail repairs.
The work schedule is:
• Nov. 11, left lane closure on northbound I-476 between the Interstate 95 and U.S. 1 interchanges in Nether Providence and Springfield from 10 p.m. to
5 a.m.; and
• Nov. 12, left lane closure on northbound I-95 between the Market Street and Ridley Park interchanges in Ridley Park, Chester and Upper Chichester, a.m.
