Joseph W. Marsich, 96 of Ridley Twp., Woodlyn, PA, died peacefully on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Sunrise Granite Run.

Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Ida (Stanowski) Marsich. Joe proudly served in World War II as a member of the Navy aboard the USS Tollman.

His family was the most important thing to him.

Joe lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a true outdoorsma­n who loved to garden, fish, hunt, and anytime spent at the waters edge. He will be missed by many.

Predecease­d by his wife Helen (Piwowar) Marsich, son Joseph J. and daughter, Baby Helen.

Survived by his children Deborah (Joseph) Sweeney, Nancy Messner and Gregory (Diane) Marsich, 9 grandchild­ren and

8 great grandchild­ren

Funeral Mass Tuesday December

11, 2018 10:30am Our Lady of Peace Church, Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, Pa

Visitation Tuesday 9:1510:15 am at the church. Interment private. In Joe’s honor we would request blood donations to the American Red Cross. Dad proudly donated over
