Alcidez “Al” “Cano” Gonzalez

Alcidez “Al” “Cano” Gonzalez, 63, of Ridley Twp., died December 3, 2018 at his home.

His family settled in Philadelphia in August 1958 and Al has been a resident of Ridley Township since 1980.

Al loved his daughter and their dog, Reese. Al was a wonderful father, a great son and brother. A “Mr. Fixit,” he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone, especially to his daughter, who was his world. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved his job at Comcast where he worked for 38 year and his work family.

He was a loving and devoted father to Jessica Alicia Gonzalez; brother to Lydia Gonzalez, Angel “Pete” Gonzalez (Carmen) and Emiliano Gonzalez, Jr (Nancy); also survived by his former wife, Alicia Vazquez Gonzalez.

Visitation: 9-10:15 AM Monday at White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA. Funeral Mass: 11 AM Monday at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA. Burial: Eastlawn Cemetery.
