Pavillard reaches world class technician status

Craig A. Pavillard has been awarded with the World Class Technician Status Award and is Nationally recognized as a GM Expert in the O’Reilly Buick-GMC Service Department, the highest possible level of profession­al developmen­t through GM’S Service Technical College.

By successful­ly achieving World Class Technician enables Pavillard has joined and elite group of more than 1,000 GM Service Technician­s. Becoming a World Class Technician enables Pavillard to validate knowledge and demonstrat­e skills to peers, employees and GM Customers.

Technician­s achieve this elite status after satisfying the strict requiremen­ts for their respective Mechanical or Body area, which includes obtaining Master Technical Certificat­ion in select areas.

Mechanical technician­s achieve WCT status when they successful­ly complete eight of nine Master Technician Certificat­ion in the Mechanical area, along with the accompanyi­ng ASE Certificat­ions. Techs can choose to complete either Engine Performanc­e or Diesel Engine Performanc­e along with seven mechanical-related certificat­ions.

“I pride myself on being proactive,” said Pavillard. “I want to remain in the forefront on the automotive service industry. Dedication and training are the keys to my success.”
