A DIFFERENT WORLD

It cracks me up, all these people calling in talking about how the “Leave It To Beaver” era was so good and so perfect. Well, if you were a straight white conservative Christian man, it was. They were the only ones who had any rights. Everyone else was a secondclass citizen. Racism, sexism and homophobia ran rampant. If a woman got attacked, well she must have done something to deserve it. And if you were gay you could be locked up in a mental hospital. That definitely sounds like such a great and perfect era.
