HERE’S AN OFFER
Here’s a good idea to see how much the guy in the White House really believes what he is saying about the wall stopping illegal immigrants and drugs from coming in this country. Here’s what they ought to propose: “OK, guy in the White House. We will guarantee, we’ll even put it in writing. We will give you $10 billion to build the wall to stop illegal immigration and drugs coming into this country but only if you resign right now.” Simple. If he is so concerned and he believe so strongly that is what’s going to save this country, he’ll resign. Anybody that really believes in something with all their heart that’s going to save this country from doom would do it, wouldn’t you? But you know he won’t, because that’s not what the wall was about. You know he would turn that down because he doesn’t believe in the wall.

I believe it is ridiculous for Chester County to sue the drug companies for the opioid problem. I have a son who is in rehab for opioids. They should take personal responsibility for their choice to start and continue taking drugs. This is nothing but a money grab by local government, taking advantage of people with the disease. Those officials are addicted to free money and it’s disgusting.

I was just watching the news and there’s one caravan about 2,000 people that’s on its way to United States and there are two more that are forming. So this is a problem that’s not going to go away and Americans need to really think very seriously about how to solve this problem. It’s going to continue to be a problem for United States. Nancy Pelosi says she wants to delay the State of the Union address by the president because she’s worried about security for the members of the House and the Senate. But she doesn’t want to put up any money for the border wall for the security of our whole nation and the regular American people.

I had to chuckle at “Concerned Citizen’s” Sound Off about the situation with Delaware County Council. It looks to me like some knuckleheads can’t accept the fact that some Democrats had the nerve to break the iron grip the Republicans had on county council for years.

Here we have President Bonespurs wouldn’t go to the war in Vietnam. But now he’s ordering the military to go on duty. They’re not getting paid, first time in history. He can fly safely in Air Force One. Who cares about the air traffic controllers? So here we have Donald being a thief and a terrorist with tantrums. Donald J. Trump. What the “T” stands for is all the terrible things he does. He’s a disgrace as a president. Get him out ASAP. Our country is going down the drain.
ANSWERS NEEDED
Enjoyed your article yesterday about the Upper Darby teachers and the Upper Darby School Board. As a taxpayer in Upper Darby and the employer of these people, I’d be interested in more specific details in the teachers’ contract, such as what is the starting salary or their raises over time. What is their vacation plan? What is the retirement plan? What is the health plan? Do they contribute to any copays? Also, what is the class size? I’d just like to know these things as a Baby Boomer and a taxpayer. Also, how many children of undocumented immigrants are in the school system?
A SIMPLE QUESTION
This is all the people out there that say they shutdown is affecting them greatly. I just have one question for you. Who did you vote for? Because if you voted for Mr. Trump, you don’t get to complain. You made your bed, now lay in it. If you voted for the other party, sorry that you are being affected by this. You’re being caught up in the political scheme.
