Signe W. Ressler

Signe W. Ressler (nee White), entered into the presence of the Lord on February 1, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted servant to God, her family, and her church.

Signe was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Helga (Bergholm) White. She is survived by her sister Esther (the late Thomas) Kasper and preceded in death by her brother Robert (Katherine) White and sister Margaret (the late Edwin) Kirschner.

Signe was born in Phila. on January 6, 1930 and raised in Yeadon. She was a lifelong resident of Delaware County and graduated from Yeadon High School in 1948. Signe attended Beaver College and Phila. College of Art where she met her husband Bill. Signe and Bill married in 1953 and moved to Aldan where they became members of Aldan Union Church. Signe served faithfully in various church ministries such as Explorer Girls, Nursery Supervisor, and Flower Committee. She was a loving wife and a dedicated stay-at-home mother. Signe was a devoted grandmother and greatgrandmother.

Signe is survived by her husband of

66 years William C. Ressler; children, Susan (Donald) Philhower, Karen (Daniel) Murphy, Mark (Adele) Ressler; her 7 grandchildren Kimberly (Steve) Desmond, Brent (Becky) Philhower, Daniel Murphy Jr., Kristen (John) Burdumy, Laura (David) Cook, William C. Ressler II, Katie Ressler and

2 great grandchildren Blair and Ethan Desmond.

Funeral Service Saturday, February 16, 2019, 12pm Aldan Union Church, 7 E. Providence Road, Aldan. Visitation prior 10:30-12 in the Church. Luncheon following in the church fellowship hall. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Explorer Girls. Make checks payable to EG Ministries Inc. 311 E. Providence Rd. Aldan, PA
