Ber­tram R. “Mickey” Jack­son,

86, of Ed­dy­s­tone passed away on Fri­day, Fe­bru­ary 8th.

He was born in Ch­ester to the late Ber­tram and Anna Jack­son. He was a grad­u­ate of Ch­ester High School, and later went on to earn a de­gree from Cheney Univer­sity. Mickey worked as a pro­gram co­or­di­na­tor for the Ch­ester-Up­land School Dis­trict. After his re­tire­ment, he went on to work as a sales­man for Le­vitz Fur­ni­ture. He en­joyed play­ing golf, fish­ing, play­ing poker, and was an ex­cel­lent dart player. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.

He was pre­de­ceased by his brother, Frank Jack­son. He is sur­vived by his wife of 37 years, Claire Jack­son; chil­dren, Pa­trick (Lisa) Caf­fey, Con­nie (Steve) Hop­kins, and Ly­dia (Bill) McAl­lis­ter; brother, Ken­neth Jack­son; sis­ters, Nancy Trainor and Kathy Jack­son; grand­chil­dren, Dana, Gre­gory, and Steven; great­grand­son, Matthew; pets, Boo-Boo and Sylvia.

His fu­neral ser­vice will be held on Wed­nes­day, Fe­bru­ary 13th at 11am at the Carr Fu­neral Home 935 S. Prov­i­dence Rd. (Rte. 320) Walling­ford, PA. Friends and fam­ily are in­vited to call from 10-11am at the fu­neral home. Burial will fol­low in Lawn Croft Ceme­tery. Do­na­tions in his name can be made to St. Jude’s Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal at
