THOSE LAZY KIDS
Today is Monday, Feb. 11, and we’re having snow today and tomorrow it’s going to be interesting to see how many lazy young people there are who do not go out and shovel and don’t feel like they need to shovel. I guess they’re entitled.
WHERE IS MARY GAY?
Mary Gay Scanlon’s district is 95 percent of Delaware County. Wallingford-Swarthmore just increase taxes by 3.2 percent. Where is Mary Gay with the federal, school and county taxes? We’re worried about this Donald Trump and she’s laughing and carrying as Ed Rendell’s girl. Delaware County will be Philadelphia soon. Where is Curt Weldon when you need him?
IF ONLY
I wish that I had a dollar for every car that blows through the stop sign on Poplar Street at Laurel Road in Sharon Hill. I could pay my property taxes with it and if I had $2 for every car that glides through I put up in the savings account for a vacation. I’d have enough to pay for a vacation in three months, and I’m not exaggerating.
ABOUT THEM TAXES
Sound Off had an item called “Love Those Dems.” New Jersey’s raising the minimum wage. You love that. That’s great. But see how many people don’t get hired this summer and how many people’s hours get cut back. Plus, you say the Democrats are always greater for the poor people. What about them high taxes in Jersey? People are moving out of Jersey because they can’t pay those ridiculous taxes. Yes, “Love Those Dems,” good luck with that. You’re a Democrat for life and you’re proud of it. Good for you. Pay the high taxes then.
BLAME THE VICTIM
The richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, is crying because somebody is trying to extort money from him because he just plays ball. He’s out cheating on his wife, getting pictures taken, and all that as his employees are on food stamps and he wants us to feel sorry for him. Are you kidding me?
RUSSIAN FOR A DEAL
To “Independent In Interboro:” Trump does work “for” the Russians, he is “working “the Russians. He is planning on expanding his empire to Mother Russia after he is out of office and is building his contacts. And to those still baffled why he still wants the wall even though the majority of Americans don’t want it, its because it’s time to start working his campaign for re-election.
MOOCHES OF MIDDLETOWN
Every time I see the issue of charging municipalities for using state police as their main police service, I find it amazing. State Rep. Chris Quinn’s view is it will take “more of hard-working people’s money.” But it’s OK for municipalities who have their own police force, paid for by their residents, to also pay for communities using the state police? If we can afford our own police force, these wealthier communities can too. I notice Chris Quinn is one of these people benefiting from having this free ride.

AND ANOTHER THING
Hello, good story about loss of newspapers. All I have to say is if we’re doing away with newspapers and we’re doing away with news outlets, why don’t we do away with politicians at the same time? I would think a lot less politicians would make our lives a lot better off. We’re tired of paying for their bottom line.
