Virginia L. Henderson (nee Jones),

77 of Cape Coral, Fl. died Sunday February 10, 2019 in the Seasons Hospice Christiana, DE.

Born in Sharon Hill, PA., she lived in Cape Coral for the last 15 years before that she lived in Folsom, PA for 60 years. She was a proud graduate of Ridley Township High School class of 1959.

She was the daughter of the late Allen and the late Dorothy (Phillips) Jones.

She retired from the Rubinstein Co. She enjoyed watching the Eagles, cooking and entertaining her friends and family.

Virginia was always willing to help anyone who was in need, but what she loved most was her family.

Predeceased by her parents Allen and Dorothy (Phillips) Jones.

Survived by her sons Steven L. (Diane) Henderson of Elkton, MD and David A. (Lisa) Henderson of Landenberg, PA, grandchildren Jordan, Ryan and Michela and her brother Kenneth Jones of Chicago, IL.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 from

7-9PM at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pk, Glenolden, PA.

Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Christ Episcopal Church,

104 Nevin St., Ridley Park. Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to American Cancer Assoc., 1626 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA.
