HI, TECH

I love today’s technology. My hubby had to get a hearing aid. I can call him at work and it bounces to his hearing aid so we can talk. If someone comes on our property our videocam bounces to our cell phones. We can watch what they’re doing or surprise them. I speaking through the camera. Feeling grateful this morning. FOLLOW THE LEADER

Well, it finally came to be for the Republicans in their insolence towards people. McGarrigle loses his Senate. So what do the Republicans do? They make him the head of the Republican Party, and now he lost all the seats in Media.

Please. Republicans, you have better leaders. The guy lost his seat. He lost the election. Let’s get some good candidates and stop throwing the mud. And let’s get somebody to really knows how to lead a party. A REPUBLICAN

PARTY TIME

I do not think that I left the Republican Party. I think the Republican Party left me. FRANK HERE ON FOREST

SAY YOU’RE SORRY

Veterans Day would be a perfect day for Trump to apologize to the McCain family and everyone who ever served in the armed forces. Everyone who served in the armed services is a hero. JUST WONDERING DAN

ALL ABOUT HATE

The American family that was shot and killed and set on fire in Mexico is horrible. This included children. The drug cartel in Mexico is responsible with others have been killed or missing. In fact, thousands of people are missing in Mexico. We do not want these drug cartel people here in our country. Trump building a wall is a good solution, but the stupid ignorant Democrats and certain news media are against a wall. They want these criminals and drugs in our country. Why? The answer is simple — they hate Trump, so they want the American people to suffer. They don’t care if people are killed or raped by these gangs. The Democrats are evil. I hope something happens to them and one of their sanctuary cities. Remember, what goes around comes around.

FUTURE SHOCK

So, for the short term, jobs will be available. The long term brings an environment ruined by the fracking process and a planet polluted from the products made from this fossil fuel. We need these hard-working men and women to be working on renewable energy for the future generation. WORRIED IN WOODLYN

IF ONLY

I love all the morons who call in and say if the Democrats win, Delco will turn into Philadelphia. We should be so lucky. Real estate prices are soaring in the city. It has great cultural attractions and incredible restaurants. It has vibrant neighborhoods and is a fun and exciting place to live. What do we have in Delco? We have the 69th Street terminal and congestion on the Blue Route. I’d move to Philly in a minute, if I made enough money.

FOR BETTER OR WORSE

Following the recent much-touted news of Democrats completing a sweep of Philadelphia’s four suburban counties (Delaware, Chester, Bucks and Montgomery), I can’t help wondering how much the March 2018 redistricting of Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court (with its Democrat majority) contributed to this event. Yes, the Democrats now control Delaware County’s council, District Attorney’s office, and judges, etc., but will this be good or bad for its citizens? Will taxes rise, spending increase, education quality diminish, open spaces evaporate and citizens no longer view their responsibilities as connected to the rights they enjoy? My fear is that it will force Philadelphia’s big-city views, values and habits on people who were proud of their distinctive hard-working independence and success. It is clear that four years from now Delaware County will probably look and be a lot different than today. I hope any changes that occur are for the better but expect and will prepare for the worse.
