Amvets Post #118 announces winners of art and essay contests

MORTON » The Harold Paul Saks Amvets Post #118 in Morton recently announced the winners of its Americanis­m art and essay contest for students. The students, usually recognized at the post’s Memorial Day ceremony, will instead be sent their awards due to the stay-at-home, nogatherin­gs protocol in place.

This year’s winners of the flag drawing contest are: Audrey Macuilli, St. James Regional Catholic School; Juliet Lynn, Notre Dame deLourdes; David Bradley, St. James Regional Catholic School; Harlee Jones, Notre Dame deLourdes; Ellie Beccaria, St. Francis of Assisi: Grace Graham, St. Francis of Assisi; Madison Harper, Our Lady of Angels Regional Catholic School; Molly Ashenfelte­r, Our Lady of Angels Regional Catholic School; Dylan Hugo, Holy Cross; and Marie Cooper, Holy Cross.

Winners of the Poster Contest are: Kate Dodley, St. James Regional Catholic School; Paul Kutufaris, St. Francis of Assisi; Kasia Chaves, Notre Dame deLourdes; Gabriella Wisner, Notre Dame de Lourdes; Avery Beccaria, St. Francis of Assisi; Emma Regan, Our Lady of Angels Regional Catholic School; Carter Kollhoff, Our Lady of Angels Regional Catholic School; Jaidyn Williams, Holy Cross; and Nicholas Voight, Holy Cross.

The team at the credit union appreciate­s the Upper Darby Police Department’s efforts in keeping the community safe and also wants to support local businesses during these unpreceden­ted times.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, TruMark has sent food from local food establishm­ents to area hospitals, police department­s and ambulance crews in Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelph­ia counties.
