John Lewis was laid to rest in the home state he represented. A well-deserved service. Former President Obama used his funeral service to deliver a political speech. This was a disgrace. Senior citizens, if Joe Biden is elected Obama, Pelosi, Sanders and AOC will run and destroy our country. Joe Biden is not capable to become president. Think, before you vote.

Donald Trump was in Tampa, Fla. Florida is one of the big hot spots for the coronavirus in the country. And of course Trump wasn’t wearing a mask, showing us that not only is he the most inept and incompetent president we’ve ever had but also that he’s an irresponsible fool and we don’t need someone that irresponsible in the White House.

I just read your article in Saturday’s paper about Community Transit’s finances. It’s hard to feel bad about this. How about we take Miccarelli’s salary and cut it in half, seeing how he’s a political appointee and got the job because he couldn’t win re-election? Then maybe you won’t have to have 15 people volunteering to clean things when the big shots are collecting their paychecks . Miccarelli is also collecting a pension from the state with 100 percent medical benefits. Try that on for size.

“Brilliant Tom” was being sarcastic, calling Gov. Wolf a real brilliant guy. But wolf is one of the smartest governors in the United States because he was one of the only governors that was smart enough to not open up the state completely. It’s because of morons like “Brilliant
Tom” that we have the problems with the coronavirus. “Brilliant Tom,” being a Republican, I’m sure doesn’t wear a mask anywhere because Republicans don’t like to wear masks.

‘PEACEFUL?’ HAH!
I agree that the Portland protesters are not peaceful and should be put in jail. What is peaceful about sending incendiary devices such as Molotov cocktails walk through the front door of the federal courthouse and trying to burn it down and burn the defenders who are inside? I’m just appalled at the riots in Portland and other cities across the United States. I think they should all be thrown in jail and just throw away the key.

If you can’t keep a professional group of athletes in perfect health, who get catered to breakfast, lunch and dinner, from getting this virus, how are you going to keep it from taking off like wildfire in the schools? I’d like to Sound Off about the fact that they just arrested Tony Luke and his son for allegedly off defrauding the government of tax money. Why don’t they go down to Wall Street and arrest some real criminals? You know, whoever sold those guys those suits had a great sense of humor.
