More donations arrive for Daily Times Merry Christmas Fund

Given today: $2,515.00 Given to date: $9,300.00 CHESTER » The 2020 Merry Christmas Fund saw its largest single day of giving thus far as $2,515 rolled into the Salvation Army Chester Corps. The fund is now just shy of the $10,000 mark and closes the gap between 2019 donations from yesterday’s 43% to 30%. Today’s donors helping provide food baskets and toys to families the week of Christmas are:

· Dorothy Smoak of Chester, $100: “Merry Christmas to all! God bless everyone from Dorothy Smoak and grandkids and family.”

· Monica Dougherty of Clifton Heights, $40.
· Joyce Laughlin of West Chester, $100: “This $100 check is for Kevin Laughlin. This remembrance by his family is to help those in need to have a merry and blessed Christmas. – The Laughlin Family.”
