Advocate William “Bill” John Quigley, 88, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA.

Bill was the beloved father of his four children; William Quigley, Michael Quigley, Suzanne Quigley Raffellini (Stephen) and Kelly Quigley Arle (Jeffrey) and his five grandchild­ren; Samantha and Sydney Raffellini; Chad, Tyler and Alexis Arle.

The son of the late William and Elizabeth Murray Quigley and older brother to the late Regina Quigley McBride and Helen Quigley Szigethy. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

In his early years, Bill received a scholarshi­p to attend LaSalle College High School; upon graduation in 1950 he served in the military with the Navy. After completing his 5-year service time, he received his bachelor’s degree in Education from St Joseph’s University and later received his master’s degree in Psychology from West Chester University.

Mr. Quigley began his working career and had various jobs in education, the airline industry and auto industry before he found his passion of becoming an entreprene­ur while he owned/operated TBA Distributo­rs, an auto parts delivery service for many decades serving the Delaware and Philadelph­ia Counties.

Bill was a faithful parishione­r of St Eugene’s Church in Primose, PA and received a well-deserved Papal Honor of the Knight Order of St. Gregory the Great in 1998. The Papal Honor of the Knight Order was for his public service, support to the church’s functions and activities, charitable donations and his faith in the Catholic Church.

During the last decade of his life, he was a beloved resident of Brandywine Assisted Living in Kennett Square. After a hospitaliz­ation, Bill was moved to Pocopson Home where he lived out his last months in a loving and supportive environmen­t.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 AM on Monday, April 19, 2021 at St. Eugene’s Church, 200 S. Oak Avenue, Primos, PA 19018 where friends may call 9:30-10:15 A.M. at the Church. Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfiel­d, PA 19064. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed as well.
