Richter’s last-second goal just enough for Episcopal
Sydney Richter had one goal but it came at the right moment.
Richter tallied with one second left to give Episcopal Academy a 10-9 victory over Notre Dame in the Inter-Ac League Tuesday. She also had two ground balls.
Alexis Ventresca collected three goals, one draw control, one ground ball and one caused turnover to pace the Churchwomen. Sara Groark added two goals, five draw controls and a ground ball. Alexa Capozzoli scored twice.
Katie Onderonk led the Irish with four goals, one assist and three draw controls.
In the Catholic League: BONNER-PRENDERGAST 19, ARCHBISHOP RYAN 10 » Abigail Blemings had a huge game for the Pandas with nine goals and two assists. Ainsley George pitched in with four goals and one assist, and Leila George added two goals and one assist.
In the Central League: HAVERFORD 18, MARPLE NEWTOWN 15 » Grace Hetznecker collected five goals and two assists and Emma Rowland added four goals, two assists and eight draw controls to get the Fords past the Tigers. Hillery Eisner added three goals, one assist, three interceptions and two ground balls for Haverford.
Kyle Goia had six goals and 14 draw controls to pace the Tigers. Oliva Ebrerson chipped in with five goals.
RIDLEY 15, UPPER DARBY 2 » Krita Gebler posted a hat trick for the Green Raiders. Abby Axe, Lila Catini, Emily Liberio and Erin Colsher chipped in two goals each.
CONESTOGA 17, LOWER MERION 3 » Grace Schackleford, Rachel Clark and Megan Marengo paced the Pioneers
with three goals each.
In nonleague action: PENN CHARTER 12, ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 11 » Kaylee Dyer had the winner for the Quakers in the final 22 seconds. Goalie Jamie Kubach made 15 saves.
Kelly Mottice paced Carroll with three goals and two assists. Keri Barrett and Emma Talego also had three goals each.

Sophomore Kyle Mea showed the way for the Bucs with five goals. Lacie McKenna added two scores and goalie Mekkenna Baliwadjer made 10 saves. Avery McLaughtlin tallied twice and Maura Kopaczynski stopped 12 shots for the Eagles.
