Republicans don’t want to have that investigation. They said it’ll make them look bad. Well, what looks worse? Not investigating because you’re afraid to lose power and all that stuff? They don’t give a damn about this country. They just want to do whatever they want.
THE HEIGHT OF IDIOCY
“Move On” says that the people on Jan. 6 were Democrats dressed up like Trump supporters to make Trump look bad. These people have been arrested and have admitted that they’re Trump supporters. Obviously they weren’t Democrats. “Move On” is the quintessential nincompoop Trump supporter. This is what Trump supporters really think -- idiotic things like Democrats did it themselves.
BACK TO BASICS
I read a couple comments in Wednesday’s Sound Off that Memorial day is a time of solemn remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defending our country yet we celebrate it as though it’s party time and the real meaning gets lost. I have to agree. It seems like all holidays such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day and also days such as the 4th of July, Thanksgiving and even Easter have become nothing but one big sales event. The real meaning is drowned out by the noise of our own commercialism. I drove around my neighborhood and counted about two or three out of every 10 homes that had their flag displayed on Memorial Day.
VOICE YOUR OPINION
To “Get Outta Town:” I feel you can hate the president; whether it’s Biden or Trump. But you can still love this country. If you don’t like it, you can leave. That’s part of what’s great about this country; you can have and voice your opinion.

And the other idiot just said have a nice long weekend. These two people are in charge of our country. They couldn’t manage a lemonade stand. They are a disgrace and they aren’t embarrassed or ashamed of their actions. This is not as bad as it gets; it will get worse.

Read the article in the June 2 Sound Off about the archdiocese. I’ve been in the Catholic Church and schools for over 60 years as a parishioner and a student. I never was victimized but I do believe that they should stand up and be true men about what they did to these kids, now adults, and all the damage they did to them if they were truly repentant. They should really give everybody a fair chance. And be honest with everybody and just admit their mistakes. A LONGTIME CHRISTIAN

He goes down to Georgia and he hands the Democratic Party two Senate seats. There hadn’t been a Democratic Senate seat holder in decades in Georgia, but Trump goes down there and does it.
