BLAME THE RUSKIES

In an effort to weaken our democracy, Russian hackers will continue to cause widespread harm to our government agencies and critical areas of our infrastructure (the Colonial pipeline incident was only a teaser). You can expect a lot more moving forward such as our Federal Reserve and banking system being compromised putting the stock market into free fall or a major cyber attack on our hospitals and health care system. Russia will continue to deny their role with interfering until we punish them through more sanctions even if it means we cripple their economy. We have done this before and are well equipped to ramp up the pressure on their economy again until they squeal “nyet!”

LOSERS, ALL

The sports teams in this city -- Flyers, Phillies and Eagles (excluding the Sixers although they won’t win either) are run by inept, incompetent people. We won’t see another parade anytime soon. It’s as if they are run by Democrats, in way over there heads.

MONEY TO BURN

The incident at the Capitol could have been worse if they were armed. We should be thankful for that .Furthermore, as far a spending all the taxpayers’ money on a investigation, we should focus all of our dollars on making sure that the incident in China doesn’t happen again! But I guess that won’t happen either! Too much to lose because of kickbacks to the Biden regime. No money to lose if we investigate the Capitol insurrection, trying to get this country back to a country.

HAPPY DAY

As an elderly person who was shut inside for months, I have started to drive again. In getting my gas I stopped at a gas station on Woodland Avenue in Springfield and there the nicest man gave me my gas and offered so nicely to check my oil and then with a smile said, “Drive safely.” It was so nice to see him again and I am grateful for his kindness.

LIVING HISTORY

In the June 3, 2021 Delco Times Weekend insert, the annual World

War II weekend in Reading, Pa., June 4-5-6, is featured. Having gone many times, this is a great event for young and old alike. It is much more than an airshow, with hundreds of reenactors, encampments, displays of the Home Front and battle lines, entertainment, and best of all, precious WW2 veterans speaking on their experiences. This is living history, folks, and the biggest WW2 event in the USA. right in our back yard. Kilroy was here (and he’ll be at WW2 weekend!).

BORING FLOWERS

Christine Flowers’ last couple of pieces were really mundane and very uninteresting. Of course Christine wouldn’t want to say anything about the fact that the Republicans in Congress are refusing to appoint a commission to investigate what happened on Jan. 6. Christine Flowers is a Trump supporter. And she wants people to forget about Jan. 6, or it’s not going to happen no matter how mundane and boring your pieces might be

WHAT A WORLD

I’m very concerned for my country. I’m 66 years old. I have never see things quite so out of control in our country. I don’t know who’s running the ship anymore in Washington. Now it seems reality has lost its way. I never seen a I never seen a political party took a so hard to destroy this country ... nothing seems to get done. Everything they throw back to the previous administration. I’m even truly concerned if Democrats knew what they were voting for when they voted this party in just like they couldn’t call Donald Trump our president. I find it very hard calling Mr. Biden president of this country. He’s been in politics for a long time, but I never seen anybody quite so active trying to tear this country apart.

A VERY BAD IDEA

About rewarding people for getting vaccinated for the COVID virus -the holdouts to encourage them to get inoculated -they’re giving them give away money. They’re giving them financial offers for someone who makes a bad decision, who does something they shouldn’t do, to hold out for the rest of society to suffer. How about people who are upfront and getting inoculated?
