Robert Carl Fleming “Baines”

Bob passed suddenly on June 17, 2021, age 63 at his home in Springfield, Delaware County.

Born in Philadelphia to Thelma (Shetzley), and the late John B. Fleming. He was a graduate of Springfield High School class of ’76, where he was active with the school band playing drums. After high school he continued his education at the Automotive Training Center in Exton, graduating as a Certified Automotive Technician. Bob spent much of his career at his business, BAINES Automotive Service in Folsom, and most recently at MS Auto Repair at 109 N. Morton Ave. in Morton. Bob was a social member of the AmVets Post 118 in Morton and enjoyed spending time there with friends.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lou, his daughters Lauren Fleming (Michael Mecouch), of Springfield, and Sarah Jeffery (Hamish) of Sydney, Australia, his three granddaughters Willow and Harper Mecouch, and Bowie Jeffery. Bob is also survived by his stepson, Christopher Tallon (fiancé Dawn Campbell) and his brother Brian Fleming (Patricia). He was predeceased by his brother Bruce Fleming in 2017.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, June 25th after 6:00 PM and attend his Memorial Service beginning at 7:30 PM, at the Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. Int. is private.
