Living in a national nightmare
To the Times:
Can anyone tell me one good thing that this current president and his administration has done for the American people in eightplus months in office? I am stymied in understanding why the Democrats continue to support this president who has systematically set out to destroy our country.
Immigration at the border has been out of control for many months. It is a crisis that is not being addressed and it is putting American citizens at risk. The drug cartels are behind many people crossing the border and they are slipping through easily without any vetting whatsoever. Joe Biden rarely knows where he his or what he is doing or saying at any given time. He actually said he was vice president for 38 years. He is a disgrace and a laughing stock amongst world leaders.
On day one of this presidency American oil pipelines were shut down, thereby giving up our oil independence and making Russia rich. Meanwhile, American citizens have unprecedented high gas prices. Inflation is rampant in most things American consumers depend on from food, to clothing and heating oil to name a few. Who knows if we will be able to get necessary things in the near future? Even Christmas is at risk. Afghanistan was a heartbreaking debacle which clearly put blood on the hands of Joe Biden. No thought whatsoever was put in the withdrawal of our troops, but then again, not much thought is put into anything this president does. He is a disgrace and an embarrassment! Crime is rampant throughout this country and it is getting worse by the day.
Nothing that this administration has done has made any sense. Under Donald Trump we had a safe, secure border, there was no inflation, the pandemic was on its way to eradication, and we did not have the Afghanistan crisis. Trump got three vaccines in short order before Biden took office, yet there are more COVID cases under Biden than there were under Trump.
Also, Trump had a plan in place that would remove civilians from Afghanistan before he would withdraw the troops. Biden, in his thoughtless haste, did the exact opposite, thereby putting many civilians at risk including Americans who were left behind. The Taliban army is now the bestequipped army in the world with $83 billion worth of various arsenal equipment. Folks, the worst for our country is yet to come.
No wonder Biden’s approval rating is the worst of any president ever. Merry Christmas! You’d better get your food products and gifts for the holidays now. My grocery store already has some bare shelves. Actually, Christmas is the least of your worries.
