Kathleen A. “Kathy” Shea (nee Devers), 78, of West Chester, PA formerly of Glenolden, PA and Springfiel­d, PA passed away peacefully on February 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving children.

Kathy was the beloved wife of Dennis F, Shea, Sr. who passed away on April 19, 2020. Kathy and Denny were happily married for 56 years. She was a loving and devoted mother of Dennis F, Shea, Jr. (Debra) of Claremont, NH and Jennifer R. Shea (Patrick Cunningham) of West Chester, PA. She was a very proud grandmothe­r to Emma A Shea, of Claremont, NH. Kathy was the sister of Carol Young (Walter), James Devers, Richard Devers (Pat), Susan Winitsky (Bob), and Michael Devers (Debbie). She is predecease­d by her sister Dorothy Desiderio, her brother William Devers, her friend Mary Ellen Kopczynski as well as many other loving friends and family members. She was sister-in-law to Eileen Bowman (David), Joanne Shea, Jeffrey Shea, and Geraldine Devers (William). In addition, she is survived by her nephew Joseph A Desiderio, who was also like a brother, close friends Paul Kopczynski, Lynn Armao and so many other special nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Kathy retired in 2010 after a long and successful career in the medical field. She loved surroundin­g herself with family, friends, and neighbors. When she was able, she enjoyed dinners out, traveling to Cape May, Hilton Head and many other destinatio­ns. She enjoyed playing games, doing crossword puzzles, going to the casino on occasion and watching Jeopardy! Everyone who knew Kathy, loved her. She was cherished by many and will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to Kathy & Denny’s Visitation, Saturday April 2, 2022, 10am, O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfiel­d Rd. Springfiel­d, PA 19064 and to their Memorial Service 12pm in the Funeral Home. Burial private.
