Vincent John Grosso, Jr.
Vincent John Grosso, Jr. (Jack/ Vinnie), 78, of Naples, Florida and Bethany Beach, Delaware, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2022 at his Naples Florida home.
He was born on April 19, 1943 to Vincent and Charlotte (McEntee) Grosso in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After graduating from Ridley Township High School in 1961, he went on to study at Lincoln Preparatory School. After he completed his program, he enlisted in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and became a master electrician. He was a lifelong member IBEW Local 654 and built many homes throughout Pennsylvania and in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
After his high school graduation, Vincent met Lorraine Teti and they wed in 1965. Vincent was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Grosso, his parents, Vincent and Charlotte Grosso, and his sisters, Jill Grosso DiNicola and Loretta Grosso Bledsoe. Vincent is survived by his children, Kym Grosso and Kevyn Grosso, his grandchildren, Tyler and Madison, and his sister, Debra Grosso Noce.
Vincent enjoyed cars, boating, fishing, tennis, golfing and dancing. He loved the warm weather in Florida, the beach and swimming in the pool. He also loved the Eagles, the Phillies, and he was a fan of all Philadelphia sports teams. When he wasn’t at home, he was often visiting friends and family. Vincent was a lifelong Democrat and enjoyed spirited political discussions. He always said he was very good on a trampoline and lived by the philosophy that duct tape could fix anything.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations are sent to the Autism Society of Philadelphia or San
Diego. There will be a celebration of life with friends and family that will be announced at a future date.
