Charles Daniel McCall, Jr. age 88, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Charlie was born in Minot, ND and graduated from O’Dea High School in Seattle, WA and then from Seattle University with a Civil Engineerin­g degree. He was a current resident of Riddle Village in Media, PA and had previously resided in Wallingfor­d, PA for many years. He was a longtime parishione­r of St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church. He retired from The Boeing Company where he enjoyed 42 years at both the Seattle, WA and Ridley Park, PA locations. His interests were abundant in all parts of life as a husband, father, and friend, from coaching sports to swim meet starter to playing golf where he made four hole-in-ones, his energy was endless. His profession­al travels took him

to six continents, while his love of the beach took him to Maui for many years and the Sea Isle City family house “down the shore”. As a boy he skied the

Cascade Mountains and continued into adulthood, while also mastering bowling, tennis, and bridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles D. McCall, Sr., and Dorothy Mae (Holmes) McCall, his siblings Rosemary Devino, Maxine Knowles and George McCall, his infant son David Hugh McCall (Deborah’s twin), his adult son David George McCall and his grandchild­ren Tamara Rhile and Aidan Perez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, B. Joyce (Gemmill) McCall, his children: Thomas McCall (Lee Ann), Patricia Jones (John), Deborah Stannard (Mark), Stephanie Perez (Leano), Hugh McCall (Patricia) and John McCall (Colleen), his grandchild­ren: Lesley Grossberg, Jeffrey, Colin, and Rhys McCall; John C. and Brian Jones; Aaron and Adam Stannard, Natalie Derstine, Laura Rusterholt­z;

Derek Rhile; Kellene Coulombe, Sean, Devin, and Maximilian McCall; Roan, Bryn and Evan McCall; his 21 great grandchild­ren, and counting.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 9:3010:30 am at St. John Chrysostom Church 617 S. Providence Rd., Wallingfor­d, PA 19086, https:// sjcparish.org/. Funeral Mass: Tuesday at 11:00 am St. John Chrysostom Church. Burial: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfiel­d.
