PENNDOT ROADWORK

Route 1

Construction operations will continue this week on Route 1 (Baltimore Pike) under a $14.8 million project to repair and resurface approximately 6 miles of the highway in Chadds Ford and Concord townships, Delaware County, and Pennsbury Township, Chester County.

• Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Lane closures in both directions between Pole Cat Road and Creek Road for line painting, sign installation and utility operations.

Interstate 95

Construction activities will continue this week on Interstate 95 in

Delaware County under a $73 million project to rehabilitate pavement and bridges on more than 11 miles of the interstate in Lower Chichester, Upper Chichester, Chester, Ridley and Tinicum townships, the city of Chester and Upland and Ridley Park boroughs.

Motorists are advised of the following:

• Monday-Tuesday: Single lane closure 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., with an extra lane closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. northbound and southbound between the Route 352/Route 320 (Exit 6) and Philadelphia International Airport (Exit 12) interchanges.

• Tuesday-Wednesday and

Wednesday-Thursday: Single lane closure 7 p.m. for two nights to 6 the next morning, with an extra lane closed 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. those nights northbound and southbound between the Route 352/Route 320 (Exit 6) and Philadelphia International Airport (Exit 12) interchanges.

• Friday-Saturday: One lane closed at 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Dec. 3, with an extra lane closed 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. southbound between the Philadelphia International Airport (Exit 12) and Route 352/Route 320 (Exit 6) interchanges.

During the overnight operations, the ramps from northbound and southbound I-95 to Ridley Park (Exit 8) and Route 420 (Exit 9A/9B) will be closed and detoured. I-95 motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour routes.

Resurfacing

The work schedules and locations are:

• Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Lane closure on Darby Paoli Road between Bryn Mawr Avenue and Brooke Road in Radnor Township for paving.

• Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Lane closure on Bryn Mawr Avenue between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and the Bryn Mawr Avenue bridge over Darby Creek in Newtown and Radnor townships for paving.

• Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Lane closure on Eagle Road between Wayne Avenue and King of Prussia Road in Radnor Township for paving

• Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Lane closure on Gulph Creek Road between King of Prussia Road and County Line Road in Radnor Township for paving.

• Wednesday-Friday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Lane closure on Morton Avenue/Swarthmore Avenue between Route 13 (Chester Pike) and Route 420 (Woodland Avenue) in Rutledge, Ridley Park, and Morton boroughs for milling.
