Biden, Harris should resign over drugs flowing into U.S.
Editor:
I am a former United States Marine, and a former Lower Merion police officer. I am also the former chairman of the Springfield Republican Party for 31 years. I am 86 years old and have been involved in politics for 60 years. I have had the privilege of meeting seven presidents of the United States of America. They were John F. Kennedy,
I cried like a baby when he was killed; Richard Nixon; Gerald Ford; Ronald Reagan; George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Donald Trump.
It is safe to say I have been around the block a few times. To be clear, I am not appealing to you as a Republican politician, but as an American citizen, a United States Marine who is concerned that our country is on a path of destruction.
This stuff about open boarders is a bunch of bull and it is a disaster not waiting to happen, but already happening. Drugs such as cocaine and fentanyl are coming in with these boarder crossings and the present administration is doing nothing about it. (“DEA: 6 of 10 fake prescription pills contain fentanyl,” Daily Times, Nov. 28) President Biden and Vice President Harris should be impeached for dereliction of duty. If they were in the Marine Corps and performed in this fashion, they would face a general court-martial.
Look, each and every one of you — Democrat, Republican, independent — all live in what was once the greatest country in the world. Some of you gave your loved ones defending this great nation. Isn’t time that we all get a seat, and pull together and call for the resignation of both. If they don’t step down voluntarily, then our Congress should impeach them.
Do what is right for America. Think about your family’s safety. Your children and grandchildren being exposed to these silent killer drugs. I was 17 when I went into the Marine Corps. Here are the two things they taught me: never surrender and complete the mission. I live by that code. Please don’t surrender to the bull of the left and the right. Do what is right for our country.
