Garrison’s deep shots boosts Penncrest

Pat Garrison hit three 3-pointers and scored 14 points as Penncrest rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to score its second straight win, 48-43, over Harriton.

Michael Mita tallied a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Brendan Hemphill added 13 points for the Lions (2-4, 1-3 Central), who outscored the Rams 31-16 after the break.

Also in the Central League: SPRINGFIEL­D 52, STRATH HAVEN 42 » Mike O’Donnell tallied 18 points as the Cougars (3-4, 2-2) ran out to a 31-14 halftime lead and held on.

Jeff Biancannie­llo added 11 points. Michael Hoey chipped in 10. Jahi Curtis led Strath Haven (52, 2-2) with 18 points. Jaden Jauregui added nine.

RADNOR 61, MARPLE NEWTOWN 40 » Danny Rosenblum and Charlie Thornton tallied 16 points each as the Raptors ran past Marple.

Radnor (5-0, 4-0) led 25-8 after one quarter, thanks to 10 points from Jackson Hicke, seven from Thornton and six from Rosenblum. Hicke finished with 17 points.

Matt Gardler led Marple Newtown (1-4, 1-3) with 13 points. Corrado

Fischetti chipped in eight.

HAVERFORD 65, RIDLEY 48 » Googie Seidman led all scorers with 22 points as the Fords (5-1, 3-1) pulled away by outscoring the Green Raiders, 41-26, after halftime.

Seidman was 14-for-15 from the line, including a perfect 9-for-9 in the fourth quarter. Brian Weiner added 19 points, and Kevin Gannon added nine. Christian Harrop led Ridley (1-3, 0-3) with 14 points. Cam Harrop and Seth Sizemore tallied nine points apiece.

In the Ches-Mont League:

SUN VALLEY 67, OXFORD 55 » Chris Kwaidah erupted for 27 points as the Vanguards (2-2, 1-2) evened their record. Kaiden Robinson tallied 11 points, and Todd Harper and Noah Griffin added 10 apiece.

In the Bicentenni­al League:

DELCO CHRISTIAN 69, CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 60 » Beau Lyren scored 19 points as the Knights (3-3, 2-1) rode a 15-point halftime lead to a comfortabl­e victory away from home.

Caleb Jameson added 12 points, and Josiah Gaines added nine points. Joseph Graves led all scorers with 24 points for TCA.
