Thefts of vehicles and from vehicles

Radnor Township police provided these accounts:

• Dec. 15, 4:04 a.m., theft from vehicles: A resident called to report four males, wearing ski masks, breaking into cars at the La Masion Apartments, located at 219 Sugartown Road.

The caller said the four subjects were operating out of their own vehicle, but could not describe it. While checking the area, officers saw an SUV occupied by four subjects in ski masks.

When officers attempted to stop the SUV, the driver fled the area at a high rate of speed. Due to safety concerns, a vehicle pursuit was not initiated. The investigat­ion revealed several vehicles were broken into at La Masion Apartments.

• Dec. 13, 6:23 p.m., retail theft: Staff from the Beer Yard, 218 E. Lancaster Ave., reported that two males made several large beer purchases using a credit card. Upon completing the sales, it was determined that the credit card was fraudulent. When staff approached the two males about the credit card, they fled from the store in a red minivan.

• Dec. 6, theft of vehicle: Radnor police received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 100 block of Trianon Lane, Villanova. The victim reported their black 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from in front of their residence between Dec. 5 at 8:30 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 8 a.m. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.

• Dec. 6, theft of vehicle: Radnor police received a report of a stolen 2020 Land Rover Sport from a driveway in the 100 block of Arbor Place, Bryn Mawr. The victim reported parking thee vehicle around 11 a.m. and discovered it missing a short time later.

Private security footage captured a man wearing a gray sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and white and blue sneakers removing the vehicle at 11:14 a.m. The car was left unlocked with the keys inside.
