DeAngelo leads Swarthmore to seventh straight win

Vinny DeAngelo scored a game-high 22 points as Swarthmore earned its seventh consecutiv­e victory Wednesday with an 8458 rout of McDaniel.

DeAngelo, the Sun Valley All-Delco, was 8-for-12 shooting from the floor. The junior guard drilled a career-high five 3-point shots.

TJ Chapman netted 12 points and Colin Shaw followed with 11 for the Garnet (10-1).

MARYMOUNT 68, CABRINI 56 » Ryan Byars led the Cavaliers (5-7) with 16 points and nine rebounds. Christian Lane (Bonner & Prendergas­t) chipped in nine points.

GETTYSBURG 63, HAVERFORD 48 » Harry Johnson (12 points), Nicholas Stewart (10) and Dhruv Mehrotra (10) all scored in double digits for the Fords (3-7).

netted 19 points, but the Eagles (10-3) had their three-game winning streak halted. Kaeshawn Ward finished with 14 points and Sam Gallardo paired 12 points with four assists. Cardinal O’Hara grad Kevin Reeves (10 points) was a rebound short of a double-double.

Devon Jones was the only Delco Lion in double figures, scoring 10 points. Colin Hockenbroc­k added seven points and a pair of steals.

Lauren Klieber provided a game-high 18 points to go with seven rebounds in Neumann’s 79-56 win over PSU-Brandywine.

Lindsay Holden added 14 points and Terea Hunt tossed in 11 for the Knights.

Trinell Watson netted a team-high 14 points, while Anaiyah Allen and Cheyenne Rivas both tallied 10 points for the Delco Lions. Kiara Koger pulled in a game-high 15 rebounds and added eight points. HAVERFORD 57, GETTYSBURG 54 » Ally Landau scored 17 points and snared nine rebounds to lead the Fords to an overtime win. Kayla Robinson went for 14 points and 16 rebounds, while Erin Albright had 12 points. VILLANOVA 71, GEORGETOWN 64 » Maddy Siegrist dominated with 29 points and 10 rebounds as the Wildcats (13-3) won their fourth in a row. Lucy Olsen tossed in 13 points and Maddie Burke contribute­d 11.

Mackenzie Smith paced the Hawks (12-2, 2-0 Atlantic 10) with 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the floor. Smith also registered a career-high five assists.

Laura Ziegler posted 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. Olivia Mullins sank four 3-pointers and finished with 15 points, a career best.

MARYMOUNT 67, CABRINI 49 » The Cavaliers, who trailed by three points after three quarters, were outscored 26-10 in the final stanza. Leading the way in defeat were Miranda Liebtag (12 points) and Brielle Fitzpatric­k (10). Kai Williams chipped in nine points.

ALVERNIA 74, EASTERN 43 » Jakaylah Johnson closed with 13 points to lead the Eagles (2-9).
