DeAngelo scores 28, Swarthmore beats Ursinus

Sun Valley All-Delco Vinny DeAngelo scored a game-high 28 points to lift Swarthmore to a 74-58 victory over Ursinus.

DeAngelo connected on 10 of 13 shots, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range. George Visconti chipped in with 11 points. The Garnet moved to 20-2 overall.

Khalid Johnson poured in 28 points and Anthony McClinton collected 24 points and 15 rebounds as the Mustangs rolled over the Phantoms.

Nate Torres tallied 20 points to lead Haverford. Jackson Ryan added 12 points. Harry Johnson pitched in with 11 and Josh Love contribute­d 10 off the bench.

Giovanni Rubino scored a game-high 23 points to lead Muhlenberg.

Women’s Basketball

Caroline Horst and Margaux Eripret scored 19 of their 29 points in the first half to pace Muhlenberg to a 49-38 victory over Haverford.

Horst had nine of her 15 points and Eripret tallied 10 of her 14 to stake the Mules to a 27-16 halftime lead. Horst also pulled down 14 rebounds and Eripret had 10 boards and five assists.

Kayla Robinson posted a double-double for the Fords with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Ally Landau added 11 points.

ALLIANCE 65, CHEYNEY 62 » Nicole Blanch hit a 3-pointer with one second left to lift the Warriors over the Wolves. Blanch led Alliance with 23 points and six rebounds.

JaNya Lilly collected a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds to pace Cheyney. Maciyah Washington added 17 points and Nytasia Braxton 12.
