Kathleen M. Fey (nee Sestak)

Kathleen M. Fey (nee Sestak), 74, of Glen Mills passed away on January 11, 2024.

Kathy was a graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School and the University of Pennsylvania where she spent her career as a university administrator. She was a selfless, loving and caring individual who lived her life with charity and humility. Her greatest joy was seeing her family and friends happy, protected and fulfilled. Kathy loved creating memories and traditions with her nieces and nephews, sharing the fun of Halloween, the warmth of New Year’s Eve sleepovers, and teaching them to cook, knit and golf.

Kathy, along with her husband Michael, the love of her life, organized the St. Agatha-St. James Christmas Market for many years, a very successful fundraiser for the church. They were members of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, never missing the annual Philadelphia Flower Show. Avid gardeners, every summer they had a massive garden with gorgeous flowers and an endless supply of vegetables which they shared with others.

Kathy is survived by her sisters Barbara, Ann, Elizabeth, Margaret and Patricia and her brother Joseph. Predeceased by her husband Michael, her brother Richard and her parents.

A viewing will be held at Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line, Drexel Hill from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31st and 8:00 to 9:00 am Thursday, February 1st followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Kevin’s Church, Springfield. Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PA Horticultural Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
