Brown, St. Joe’s top Saint Louis

PHILADELPH­IA » Xzayvier Brown scored 18 of his 27 points in the second half and made two foul shots with seven seconds left and Saint Joseph’s beat Saint Louis 87-86 on Saturday.

The Hawks’ Lynn Greer III came up with a steal on Saint Louis’ Sincere Parker to end it.

Brown also distribute­d seven assists and grabbed five rebounds for the Hawks (16-8, 6-5 Atlantic 10 Conference). Cameron Brown scored 23 points and added seven rebounds. Erik Reynolds II scored 11.

Parker led the Billikens (9-15, 2-9) with 34 points and nine rebounds. Larry Hughes Jr. had 15 points and three steals.

PRINCETON 77, PENN 70 » Xaivian Lee scored 22 points, he and Caden Pierce both had double-doubles, and Princeton (17-3, 5-2 Ivy League) beat Penn (9-13, 1-6).

Lee had 10 rebounds and five assists for the Tigers.

The Quakers were led in scoring by Nick Spinoso, who finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Tyler Perkins added 14 points for Pennsylvan­ia. In addition, Clark Slajchert had 10 points and six rebounds.

The loss was the Quakers’ sixth in a row.

RICHMOND 82, LA SALLE 65 » Dji Bailey’s 22 points helped Richmond (17-6, 9-1 Atlantic 10) defeat La Salle (11-13, 2-9).

Bailey also contribute­d seven rebounds for the Spiders.

Khalil Brantley led the way for the Explorers with 22 points and two steals. Daeshon Shepherd added 12 points for La Salle. In addition, Jhamir Brickus finished with 12 points and four assists.

CHARLESTON 80, DREXEL 70 » Frankie Policelli scored 22 points as Charleston (18-7, 9-3 Coastal Athletic Associatio­n) beat Drexel (15-10, 8-4).

The Dragons were led in scoring by Amari Williams, who finished with 20 points and eight rebounds. Drexel also got 12 points and seven rebounds from Archbishop Carroll’s Luke House.
