David Kramp, 75, of Sharon Hill, Pennsylvan­ia passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, February 26, 2024.

Dave loved his family, loved his friends, and loved having a good time. In his youth in Ebensburg, PA, he played football for Bishop Carroll High School and enjoyed following all the Pittsburgh sports teams. After graduating from Temple University, he settled in Delaware County where he lived for the remainder of his life and rooted enthusiast­ically for Philadelph­ia’s sports teams, especially the Phillies who he loved to watch at Spring Training and on many road trips with his pals.

After a finance career in New York, Dave tended bar at the Waverly Tavern in Drexel Hill and presided over many “Thirsty Thursday’s at the Wave with Dave” where he loved to tell stories, laugh at a joke, and play tunes on the jukebox. He enjoyed playing golf, cooking, good restaurant­s, live music, and crossword puzzles but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with the people he loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dean and LaDean (Beattie) Kramp and his beloved son, Jeremy. He is survived by his brothers Roger, Doug, and Brian, his sisters Shelly Thomas, Denise Brown, and Beverly Stock, his ex-wife Paula Kramp, son Evan Kramp, daughter in law Elizabeth Kramp, daughter Lauren (Kramp) Shannon, son in law Eric Shannon, grandchild­ren Brennan Kramp, Vivienne Kramp, Sawyer Shannon, and Cooper Shannon, and 12 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 6:00-7:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Interment Private.
