Main Street building demolition bid awarded
Steve R. Raunch, Inc. has been awarded the contract for t the demolition of a countyowned building on Main Street following a vote by the Greene County Board of Commissioners in May.
Steve R. Raunch, Inc. was the lowest bidder, $93,000, among seven bids for the job. The job was initially estimated to cost $160,000.
County officials hope to finish the demolition by the end of the summer. Inspection Division.
Kelsey Solomon has accepted the position of Office Assistant II in the Community Development Department, which includes the divisions of Neighborhood Betterment, Code Enforcement and Building Inspection.
Jennifer Abling has been hired as an Account Clerk II in the Finance Division.
Tad Stoll has been hired as the city’s Construction Inspector II.
He has more than 20 years of experience in building inspections and more than 10 years as a building official. Xenia Chrome Divas is also supporting the event.
Registration is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and costs $20 per bike, which includes a pancake breakfast.
