Spring into summer Saturday at North park

Springboro will host the inaugural Spring — Into Summer in the — Boro event from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at North Park, 195 Tamarack Trail.

There will be plenty of activities for all ages including a bounce house and 24-foot climbing wall.

There also will be musical entertainm­ent throughout the night with sights and sounds from Reload, Phat Like Dad and the American Bombshells from New York. Beer Festival: A Taste of Warren County will be from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the vineyard, 2276 E. U.S. 22/Ohio 3.

The event features music, tours, royalty from the Ohio Renaissanc­e Festival, and hot air balloons with balloon glow.

A charity walk/run starts at 10 a.m.; registrati­on begins at 9 a.m. The walk, which benefits the local “Shop with a Cop” program, is $10 per person or $20 per family in advance, or $15 and $25 on Saturday. Joining the Tour de Cure is Marty Shacklefor­d, of Team Type 2 Sanofi — a group of Type 2 diabetic athletes striving to instill hope and inspiratio­n for people affected by diabetes.
