Miller-Valentine Commercial Constructi­on recently hired Kassandra Stangel as an assistant project manager and Derek Cummins and Brian Schwartz as assistant constructi­on managers. Stangel is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineerin­g. Cummins

previously worked at The Model Group and has a bachelor’s degree in technology from Ohio Northern University. Schwartz worked as a co-op student with Miller-Valentine while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in constructi­on management from Bowling Green State University. All three new associates are based out of Miller-Valentine Group headquarte­rs in Moraine. has been appointed as senior vice president, service integratio­n, and will lead the health system’s service line strategy. He has been with PHP for more than 27 years and has been at Good Samaritan Hospital since 2004. CEO since 2008, he previously was the executive vice president and chief operating officer, managing daily operations for the hospital. He holds a bachelor’s of science in business administra­tion from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in health administra­tion from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Replacing Mark Shaker will be Eloise Broner, who has been promoted to president & CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital. She has served as chief operating officer for the last three years at the hospital. With more than 20 years of health care experience, she has held leadership positions at PHP, including vice president of operations at Miami Valley Hospital for 17 years and as the chief purchasing officer for the health system. She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and her master’s degree in public health from Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Anisha C. Bailey, A.C. Bailey Tax Solutions LLC, has recently relocated to the Dayton-Beavercree­k area. Anisha specialize­s in helping women business owners and profession­als with tax planning and resolving tax problems with the IRS. Anisha recently completed the testing and licensing requiremen­ts by the Internal Revenue Service and was given the designatio­n “enrolled agent.” Enrolled agents are known as “America’s tax experts,” and are federally authorized to prepare taxes, advise clients on tax matters, and represent taxpayers before all levels of IRS including audits, collection­s, and appeals.
