Fire, rescue to host annual fish dinner

Harlan Township Fire & Rescue will host their Annual Brother Ed’s Fish & Shrimp Dinner on Friday, at the Harlan Twp. Fire & Rescue headquarters on Morrow-Rossburg Road at Ohio 132, midway between Butlerville and Pleasant Plain. The dinner is held in memory of Lt. Ed Vinup, who passed away in 2008, after being chairman of the dinner for 17 years. Fish, shrimp and combo dinners, fish sandwiches, hot dogs and pizza will be available, along with macaroni and cheese, French fries, cole slaw, hush puppies, desserts, iced tea, coffee and soft drinks. Meals will be served from 4 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., and are available for dine-in or carry out. For more information, call 513877-2727.
