Ranch has fine features, possibilities

Full, unfinished basement could boost living space.

- By Kathy Tyler

Located in the Oaks of Huber Heights subdivision, this brick and vinyl ranch built in 2006 has a full unfinished basement.

Listed for $159,900 by HER Realtors, the home at 6064 Oak Ridge Drive has about 1,588 square feet of living space including three bedrooms. The full basement has studded walls dividing the basement into four separate spaces and is plumbed for a possible bathroom.

Formal entry opens into a foyer hallway with ceramic-tile flooring. Access to the basement is off the foyer.

The foyer ends at the great room with a cathedral ceiling and a gas fireplace with ceramic-tile surround. Flooring treatment separates the great room from the breakfast room and kitchen area. The breakfast room is a bay bump-out design with windows and sliding patio doors that open to a large wooden deck, which was added to the house after it was built, and a spacious open backyard. Back inside, the breakfast room also has a planning desk with hanging cabinets above and a double sliding-door pantry closet.

A peninsula breakfast bar divides the kitchen from the breakfast room and offers seating for three. White cabinets offer plenty of storage and a double sink is nestled diagonally in one corner of the kitchen with two windows above it. The kitchen comes equipped with a range, dishwasher and refrigerator. A second pantry closet allows for additional storage.

A large laundry room with hanging cabinets is accessible from the kitchen and allows access to the two-car attached garage.

There is a formal dining room near the front of the home with kitchen and great room access. James Agee HER Realtors 937-667-9446
