Tiger SHEBOYGAN, WIS.— Woods’ 2015 PGA Tour season may have ended when he missed the cut early Saturday at the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.

WhileWoods has entered next week’sWyndham Championship, his agent, Mark Steinberg, told ESPN no decision has been made and that Woods only entered by Friday’s deadline to give himself the option of playing.

After playing his final five holes in even par to miss the cut by two shots, Woods said, “I’m just going to sit back and go through it with my team. We’ll talk about it, what I need to do and see if that’s the right move or not. We’ll decide (in the) next couple days.”

Woods, who has now missed the cut in his last three majors and four of his last five, shot rounds of 75 and 73 this week. He would need to finish no worse than second at theWyndham to move up enough spots from his current No. 186 in the FedEx Cup standings to get to the No. 125 spot he needs to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs that start later this month.

Woods said he has been frustrated by his inability to put together the various elements of his game over four rounds.

“(Either) ball-striking (has been) sound and putting bad, or putting great and then ball-striking not so solid,” Woods said. “I haven’t been able to put both together consistently for an entire event. Maybe for a day or two, but not an entire event.”

But, in his typical glasshalf-full approach, he remains positive even as he approaches his 40th birthday this December.

“The confidence is growing quickly,” he said. “I’m hitting shots and able to hit shots that I haven’t been able to hit in years, and that’s nice again. And to have the control I need to have going forward, it’s starting to come back.”
