Little Miami Food Pantry seeks organizer

- REPORT STAFF STAFF REPORT

A food organizer for the Little Miami Food Pantry’s waiting room is needed. Clients “shop” here for fresh produce, bakery goods and more while their monthly order is being filled. This position would require someone to keep this area orderly and assist clients.

One volunteer should be available Mondays from 8:30 am to noon. Another volunteer or the same one is required for this area on Fridays from 8:30 am to noon.

Several volunteers are needed to pick up donations from local businesses such as grocery stores and bring them to the pantry. There are various times and days available.

The food pantry garden requires two additional volunteers to help with new plantings, as well as to assist maintaining current operations, including planting, weeding, watering and harvesting. The garden is open Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. Some gardening experience desired. Volunteers may work one or both days. This is an all-natural garden, using no chemicals.
