A youngster (Asa Butterfield) continues his father’ s clock maintenance work in a Paris train station in the early 1930s. Healso tries to finish a robot his dad was working on, with Chloe Moretz as his spirited partner in acquiring the necessary parts. Ben Kingsley and Jude Lawalso are in the fine cast. “Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration,” 10a.m. on Ch. 22and Ch. 9: A popular Christmas Day tradition returns as co-hosts Robin Roberts and Jesse Palmer from ABC’s “Good Morning America” anchor coverage of family-friendly festivities at California’s Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Orlando. Guests and performers are scheduled to include Reba, Ariana Grande, Jason Derulo, singer-songwriter Andy Grammer, Canadian musician and producer David Foster and the cast of Disney Channel’s hit TV musical “Descendants ,” among many others.

NBA basketball, 12p.m. on ESPN: Along with the gifts, relatives and food comes a generous helping of NBA action thanks to this quintupleheader that starts with this New Orleans Pelicans at Miami Heat tilt. The Chicago Bulls at Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors follow on ABC.
