Two health and fitness MIAMI TWP. — facilities, and a “clean-eating” restaurant that will mean at least $2 million in new investment are coming to Austin Landing, a site that employs more than 2,500.

CycleBar Premium Indoor Cycling, Orangetheory Fitness and CoreLife Eatery plan to open locations within the next year at the 142-acre mixed-use complex in Miami Twp., officials said.

“This announcement is the first wave of tenants to fill the remaining retail space at Austin Landing,” according to a statement from Larry Dillin, president of VisCap Development, developer of the center off Interstate 75 at Austin Boulevard.

Agreements with the three growing chains will mean between $2 million to $3 million in new investment for the complex. Austin Landing plans to kick off about $10 million in new construction this summer with the addition of two buildings totaling 30,000 square feet, according to VisCap.

“These exceptional new tenants are the beginning of more great things to come,” Dillin said in the statement.

The announcement comes as construction is set to be completed this summer on more than $50 million in projects that include a 12-screen luxury cinema, a 274unit upscale apartment complex that opened in November, and a 108-room extended stay hotel.

The Cincinnati-based CycleBar started in 2014 and has about 70 locations nationwide, including several in Hamilton County.

It is “the only franchised premium indoor cycling concept in the world,” said Austin Landing operator Steve Zubrzycki of Springboro. He noted the concept is “an unparalleled, multi-sensory experience in this full-body, high intensity cardio workout.”

It plans a September opening, occupying about 3,200 square feet on Rigby Road at a site formerly home to Booksellers. About 3,000 square feet of that vacant space will also be consumed by Orangetheory, which is targeting a December opening, officials said.

It provides a “scientifically designed, one-of-a-kind group

personal training, interval fitness concept,” according to its website. The business opened in

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. in 2010, and has sold 800 franchise licenses, officials said.

CoreLife, which is aiming for a December opening, will move into a 10,000 square foot building on Innovation Drive just east of The Park at Austin Landing, officials said.

The CoreLife menu offers create-your-own grain and vegetable bowls, soups, grass-fed chicken and steak, and organic tofu. Customers can create

their own “green bowl,” with options like Sriracha ginger roasted tofu, kale caesar chicken, spicy ginger steak, Mediterranean, and chicken cobb.

It earlier announced plans to open a site this fall at The Cornerstone of Centerville. It has 11 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New York since opening in Syracuse in 2015, a company official said.
