Ted Neeley (Jesus) will be at the events, discussing the film, hosting VIP receptions and participat­ing in meet-andgreets. Sunday’s screening will be a sing-along and costume contest. 2017 MAX MAY MEMORIAL HOLOCAUST ART EXHIBITION: 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at The Dayton Art Institute, 456 Belmonte Park, N., Dayton. Each year Renate Frydman and her family honor the memory of her grandfathe­r Max May, an artist and architect, by sponsoring an art contest that encourages area students in grades 5-12 to focus on the Holocaust as an inspiratio­n for a world that is free of racism, disrespect and intoleranc­e.

ACTING UP: KABUKI IN JAPANESE PRINTS: 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at The Dayton Art Institute, 456 Belmonte Park, N., Dayton. With the rise of kabuki theaters in the pleasure quarters of Japan as a popular form of mass entertainm­ent, many woodblock prints depicted these theatrical scenes.
