■ No. 2 Virginia 59, (at) Syracuse 44: De’Andre Hunter scored 15 points, Kyle Guy added 14, and the Cavaliers (22-1, 11-0 ACC) smothered the Orange (15-8, 4-6) for their 14th straight victory.

■ No. 3 Purdue 78, (at) Rutgers 76: Vincent Edward had 18 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, and the Boilermake­rs (23-2, 12-0 Big Ten) held on to beat the Scarlet Knights (12-13, 2-10) for a school-record 19th straight win. Corey Sanders had 31 points and seven rebounds for Rutgers.

■ (At) St. John’s 81, No. 4 Duke 77: Shamorie Ponds had 33 points and seven rebounds, and the Red Storm (11-13) stunned the Blue Devils (19-4) at Madison Square Garden, snapping an 11-game losing streak and handing the suddenly suspect Blue Devils their second loss in eight days. Bashir Ahmed added 19 points and Tariq Owens had 17 for St. John’s. Gary Trent Jr. had 22 points for Duke.

■ Oklahoma State 84, (at) No. 7 Kansas 79: Kendall Smith scored 24 points, including the clinching free throws in the final seconds, and the Cowboys (14-9, 4-6 Big 12) dealt the Jayhawks (18-5, 7-3) their third loss this season in Allen Fieldhouse. Cameron McGriff added 20 points and Jeffrey Carroll had 15 for Oklahoma State. Udoka Azubuike had 20 points and Devonte’ Graham and Svi Mykhailiuk scored 17 apiece for Kansas, which was celebratin­g 120 years of basketball by welcoming back dozens of former players and coaches.

■ No. 8 Cincinnati 65, (at) Connecticu­t 57: Jacob Evans III scored 19 points, Kyle Washington added 13 points and 11 rebounds, and the Bearcats (21-2, 10-0 American) topped the Huskies (11-12, 4-6) for their 14th straight win. Jalen Adams scored 20 points and Christian Vital added 18 for UConn, which has lost five of its past six.

■ No. 10 Texas Tech 83, (at) TCU 71: Jarrett Culver scored 20 points with four 3-pointers, and the Red Raiders (19-4, 7-3 Big 12) topped the Horned Frogs (16-7, 4-6) for their fourth straight victory. Vladimir Brodziansk­y led TCU with 18 points.

■ No. 20 Clemson 75, (at) Wake Forest 67: Gabe Devoe scored 24 points, Marcquise Reed added 22, and the Tigers (19-4, 8-3 ACC) defeated the Demon Deacons (9-14, 2-9). Bryant Crawford scored 16 points for Wake.

■ (At) Missouri 69, No. 21 Kentucky 60: Jordan Barnett and Kassius Robertson each scored 16 points, and the Tigers (15-8, 5-5 SEC) defeated the Wildcats (17-6, 6-4) for the first time in their 11 games. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Kentucky, which hit just two of its 20 3-point attempts, with 15 points.

■ Alabama 68, (at) No. 23 Florida 50: Collin Sexton scored 17 points, Donta Hall had his fourth double-double of the season, and the Crimson Tide (15-8, 6-4 SEC) rallied from a 10-point deficit to defeat the Gators (15-8, 6-4).

■ (At) No. 24 Michigan 76, Minnesota 73 (OT): Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman made a tiebreakin­g three-point play with 3.8 seconds left and finished with 17 points, Moe Wagner added 16 points and 10 rebounds, and the Wolverines (19-6, 8-4 Big Ten) edged the Golden Gophers (14-11, 3-9). Isaiah Washington had a season-high 26 points and Nate Mason scored 22 for Minnesota.

■ (At) N.C. State 76, Notre Dame 58: Torin Dorn scored 21 points, Braxton Beverly added 16 points and six assists, and the Wolfpack (16-7, 6-4) rolled past the Fighting Irish (13-10, 3-7).

■ Miami 84, (at) Virginia Tech 75: Anthony Lawrence II scored a career-high 25 points and had 13 rebounds to lift the Hurricanes (17-5, 6-4) over the Hokies (16-7, 5-5).

■ Florida State 80, (at) Louisville 76:

Phil Cofer scored 11 of his 16 points in the second half, and the Seminolees (17-6, 6-5) held off the Cardinals (16-7, 6-4).

SEC

■ (At) Texas A&M 83, South Carolina 60: Admon Gilder scored 15 points, Robert Williams added 11 points, nine rebounds and five blocks, and the Aggies (15-8, 4-6) rolled over the Gamecocks (13-10, 4-6).
