Art by Carla Steiger, who in small dreamlike worlds creates an irrational reality. Steiger assembles small tableaux from her amazing collection of old photograph­s, toys, paintings, fabrics, small objects and treasures gleaned from nature and photograph­s the tableau, in natural light, in a direct, single negative or digital photograph. The exhibition will include a working sample of the assemblage and instructio­ns on how to do this technique. Show runs through June 10.

OPEN AUDITIONS FOR “THE LITTLE FOXES”: 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at The Dayton Theatre Guild at the Caryl D. Philip TheatreSca­pe, 430 Wayne Ave., Dayton. The Little Foxes takes place in the south and Southern accents will be used. While not required for auditions, any attempt will be appreciate­d. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Head shots are not required but are appreciate­d. Please provide a list of all known conflicts between June 6 and Sept. 2, including weekends.
