LEE MARTIN DEBUTS SHORT STORY COLLECTION: 2 to 3 p.m. at Books & Co., 4453 Walnut St, Beavercreek. From friendship and family to all forms of love, “The Mutual UFO Network” explores the intricacies of relationships and the possibility for redemption in even the most complex misfits and loners.

Art by Carla Steiger, who in small dreamlike worlds creates an irrational reality. Steiger assembles small tableaux from her amazing collection of old photographs, toys, paintings, fabrics, small objects and treasures gleaned from nature and photographs the tableau, in natural light, in a direct, single negative or digital photograph. The exhibition will include a working sample of the assemblage and instructions on how to do this technique. Show runs through June 10.

OPEN AUDITIONS FOR “THE LITTLE FOXES”: 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at The Dayton Theatre Guild at the Caryl D. Philip TheatreScape, 430 Wayne Ave., Dayton. The Little Foxes takes place in the south and Southern accents will be used. While not required for auditions, any attempt will be appreciated. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Head shots are not required but are appreciated. Please provide a list of all known conflicts between June 6 and Sept. 2, including weekends.
