A finished basement adds to the living space of this split floor plan ranch located within the Charlesgate neighborhood of Huber Heights.

Listed for $174,900 by Odis Slone Realty, the brick ranch at 8971 Davidgate Drive has about 1,770 square feet of living space plus the finished basement. Some of the updates made to the home include vinyl windows, flooring and stainless-steel appliances.

A concrete patio surrounds the formal entry of the home and has a raised entry to the updated front door. Inside, the foyer hallway has woodlaminate flooring that continues into the great room, which has a cathedral ceiling with wood-beam accent and ceiling paddle fan. A gas fireplace with a raised brick hearth and brick and wood surround is tucked into one corner of the great room and large sliding patio doors open into a three-season Florida room.

The Florida room has a cross-beam volume ceiling with paddle ceiling fans, carpeting, screens, windows and patio doors that open out to the back yard, where there is a paver-brick patio and storage shed. The back yard is surrounded by a fence.

Back inside, the main bedroom is off the great room and has a private bath. A wide walkway has two sliding door closets and ends at the double-sink vanity dressing area. A door opens to the room with the walkin shower and toilet. Across the hallway from the main bedroom is the laundry room with folding counter.

A hallway off the entry leads to two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have sliding-door closets and ceiling paddle fans. The bath features a tub/shower and single-sink vanity.

Opposite the bedroom hallway from the foyer is the entrance to the eat-in kitchen. The kitchen has two walls of cabinetry and countertops with a double sink below a cut-out that looks into the great room. The kitchen comes equipped with a range, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. Vinyl flooring fills the kitchen area while carpeting offsets the dining area. A door opens from the dining room out to the garage which has a storage nook and side service door.

A glass door opens to the lighted stairwell to the basement. Hidden accent lights near the steps help light the staircase that ends into a family room with tongue-andgroove ceiling treatment and tile flooring. A door opens off the family room to a bonus room which has double sliding door closet. The room is set up as a fourth bedroom.

Another finished bonus room has a painted floor and access to an unfinished storage closet, the utility room and a third full bathroom with walk-in shower, single-sink vanity and vinyl flooring. There is a built-in display case and access to the crawl space under the upstairs bedrooms.
