Warren panel will hear sewer service proposal

- STAFF REPORT

The Warren County Board of Commissioners meets at 9 a.m. today to be introduced to new county hirings.

At 9:15 a.m. the board will meet Stacy Sheffield, the county’s executive director of the workforce development board.

At 9:30 a.m., Chris Brausch, the county’s sanitary engineer, is to discuss transferring sewer service for the Candlestone development to Butler County and changing the map for sewer service with Cincinnati and Hamilton County to reflect this change.

The move comes in light of a lawsuit between Cincinnati and Hamilton County over operation of the Cincinnati Municipal Sewer District. Also, Brausch is proposing the county add a $25 fee for processing annual tests of residential fire prevention or irrigation systems for the county’s backflow prevention program.

This was a program of the county health department and the fee was assessed by the health department. For more information, call 513-695-1250.
