Woman, 35, killed in John Street crash ID’d

A 35-year-old woman was identified as the person who died in Sunday’s two-vehicle collision at John Street and Portage Path, Springfield police said in an accident report Monday.

Jessica Cydrus was driving a Toyota Camry east on John about 4:15 p.m. when an SUV police said was speeding drove through a stop sign at Portage Path and smashed into the driver’s side of the vehicle.

A passenger in the Camry, Jamie Salters, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital.
